Pero last December 23, swerte na may available flight from December 26-30, so kinuha ko na. Walang bagyo, wala rin masyadong gagawin and mahaba bakasyon. Kaya eto, ilan sa mga photos ng Batanes trip ko. Napuntahan ko ang Batan at Sabtan Islands, inakyat ang Mt. Iraya pero ang Itvaya Island na lang ang hindi ko napuntahan...Balik na lang ulit sa summer. Pero sa apat na araw na andun ako, sobrang sulit sa pasyal at pahinga. Buti na lang hindi ako nag package tour kasi mas sulit para sa kin na backpacker lang. This was a project led by Dencio (sya yung girl na naka eye-glass) to help the people of DRT to have a livelihood. Yung concept ng project was to train some volunteers from the town to be a tour guide dun sa cave. They were trained for almost four Saturdays, and then this time, practicum naman. Kami yung tourists. I must say that Melbourne is "the" city for me...As the tourism center in Melbourne says: It's easy to be lost in Melbourne. And true enough, I became the lost boy who found so the space that he needed. The city is not extra-ordinary and there's not much "city-ness" to enjoy because it shuts down by 6PM except on Thursdays and 5PM on weekends. But I guess that's the charm the made Melbourne what it is. Very laid back pero hindi naman tamad....Cosmopolitan pero hindi pretentious. Alas 7:30 ang lipad ng eroplane pero medyo na delay ng ilang minuto. Pero halos 30 minuto na kaming nakalilipad nang biglang naganusnsyo ang piloto na kailangan naming bumalik sa NAIA para sa "additional trouble shooting". Sa unang bagsak ng balita, alas 12 raw ang alis ng eroplano, pero hindi natuloy. Sumunod na sinabi na alas 2 daw pero di pa rin natuloy. Kung hindi sa pakikipag-usap ko sa supervisor ng AirPhil, hindi siguro ako makaka-alis nang araw na yon. Halos 12 oras na akong naghintay sa airport. There were around 15 sightings during that time and I personally had around 7 interactions. Kakapagod. lalo na kung "bibo" yung buntanding. There was a time that we were snorkeling for almost 45 minutes already. But in many instances, medyo mahiyain yung butanding so it was quite short. Likea round 5 minutes lang. But it's ok. Kasi the visibility during this day was good. Though the in teraction was short, I was able to see the butandings clearly.
